OUR POLICY
MHD's policy of working for the social uplift of the slum dwellers is very simple. The founding members of the MHD contribute major monetary resource to run literacy centers, medical clinics and vocational training facilities. Many philanthropist individuals and organizations are our partners, not only in providing financial resources but also, the MHD, receives free consultancy, teaching materials and physical participation in MHD's educational projects.
The MHD does not believe in solo flight. We provide financial help to charity organizations who are genuinely engaged in welfare activities. The MHD contributed in the construction of a pediatric hospital in Kot Momen village, district Sargodha. The MHD meets the deficit monthly budget of some charitable schools and clinics in Lahore. The MHD also provides financial help to bright students of poor families (girls and boys) for college education.
The bottom line of our policy is that our financial resources are best utilized for those who need help in education, health and vocational training. 92% of our resources are spent directly on the beneficiaries.
