HEALTHCARE Wherever possible, the MHD joins other philanthropic organizations working in the area of health. They may be outdoor clinics or hospitals. This saves us from bothersome management problems associated with the running of clinics and hospitals. Apart from tangible medical care, we educate slum dwellers about cleanliness, personal hygiene and how to purify drinking water. The MHD also works with other welfare bodies engaged in blood testing of slum dwellers where hepatitis and other blood related diseases are common.
